Description

The Mavimare GE 50 S is a heavy-duty hydraulic steering system designed for boats with attached rudders. It is ideal for boats with round or straight transoms, measuring 6 to 10 meters in length. All pump and cylinder components are constructed from aluminum and RVS 316 marine-grade stainless steel, with A4 stainless steel bolts and nuts for complete seawater resistance. The system includes a pump with a maximum working pressure of 70 bar, hoses rated to 200 bar (tested to 300 bar), and the steering unit operates at up to 80 bar. The pump features a pressure relief valve and non-return valves. The kit comes complete with two 7.5-meter hydraulic hoses (cut-to-length via heavy-duty clamp fittings), two bottles of hydraulic oil, a vent hose, a stainless steel hull through-fitting, a steering cylinder, all mounting hardware, and an English installation manual. Installation is straightforward and can even be performed while the boat is in the water.
